Enforcement of Road Safety Laws

This project aims to strengthen the enforcement of road safety laws in Uganda. We advocate for stricter regulations and penalties for traffic violations, such as speeding, driving under the influence, and not wearing seat belts. The project also supports law enforcement agencies by providing training and resources to better implement these laws. Key Activities: Advocacy campaigns for stricter traffic laws. Training sessions for traffic police officers. Public awareness campaigns about road safety regulations. Collaborating with the Ministry of Transport and Works to review and update traffic laws. Impact: The project has led to a 15% decrease in traffic violations in areas where enforcement has been strengthened. Increased police presence and better training have contributed to a safer driving environment.
